Cotswold Guardians Gains Gold Standard Re-Accreditation
By Aegis UK • February 15, 2024
Cotswold Guardians was established in 2004 to help satisfy the growing demand for a caring, professional and personal service for international students studying in the UK. Anne has spent many years hosting students from overseas, and set up Cotswold Guardians after retiring from thirty years of teaching. Cotswold Guardians’ main purpose is to provide high quality host family accommodation for students.
The lead inspector reported:
“The Director personally maintains contact with her students, and she is committed to providing a highly personalised service to them. She knows her host families very well, some of whom have been hosting for her for over ten years.
All respondents to the student questionnaires stated they felt safe and happy. All students, who use host families, were happy with their families.
Although Cotswold Guardians’ students attend a wide range of schools geographically, the Director keeps in contact regularly and can speak knowledgably about these schools and the students. The Director has worked with some of these schools over many years and school staff who completed the questionnaires all responded very positively and commented particularly on the level of professionalism and care.”
Gold Standard Accreditation is the most prestigious accolade that a guardianship organisation can hold.
