EduGuardUK Ltd Gains Gold Standard Accreditation

EduGuardUK Ltd aims to provide comprehensive support and guidance to international students studying in the UK, ensuring their wellbeing, safety, and academic success. 

The lead inspector reported,

“Safeguarding responsibilities are taken seriously by EduGuardUK Ltd with the well-being and safety of children being at the heart of its practice. The safeguarding policy is comprehensive and covers the requirements of Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance. It is shared with parents and homestays and is also available on the organisation’s website alongside other important policies that are all reviewed annually. The student handbook covers the key points of the safeguarding policy at an appropriate level and outlines what a young person should do if they do not feel safe while in the UK. EduGuardUK Ltd has a Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and a trained deputy who are clearly identified in the policy. The DSL is well trained having completed courses covering safeguarding, safer recruitment and the Prevent duty.”

Gold Standard Accreditation is the most prestigious accolade that a guardianship organisation can hold.
