Hope Guardianship Passes Preliminary Accreditation!

By Aegis UK September 2, 2021

Hope Guardianship, based in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire, was established in 2013 following requests from Chinese friends to act as guardian for their children whilst they studied in the UK. The guardianship company offers a personalised service to Chinese students who attend schools close to the owner’s location.

The lead inspector reported,

“Homestays are carefully chosen and are usually fluent in the first language of the student. The owner understands the importance of safer recruitment and health and safety checks on the homestay and their accommodation respectively. These have been undertaken on the homestays that are used. The owner acts as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the organisation and demonstrates a secure understanding of the importance of this role and who to turn to should there be any concerns. This includes liaising with school DSLs when the need arises.”

Preliminary Accreditation ensures all the essential requirements are in place in order to host and care for international students safely
