Prior’s Field is a leading independent boarding & day school for girls aged 11–18 in Godalming, Surrey.
“We offer a small number of international students the opportunity to experience a truly excellent education and the best of British Boarding School life in our beautiful rural setting, just 40 minutes away from London.
Prior’s Field was founded on 23 January 1902 by Julia Huxley as a “high class school for girls”. Julia came from a family of great academic and literary tradition. Her grandfather was Dr Thomas Arnold of Rugby School and her Uncle, Matthew Arnold the poet. Julia herself was one of the first women to attend Somerville College at Oxford and wanted to enable girls to have a similarly progressive education as her own.
We have a long and successful history of educating girls from both home and abroad and as a Child Student Visa Sponsor with the UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) welcome applications from all around the World.”
