Harbour House Guardianships is awarded Preliminary Accreditation!

By Aegis UK August 18, 2021

We welcome Harbour House Guardianships as a Preliminary member of AEGIS. This means all the essential requirements have been met in order to care for international students.

Based in Bath and founded in 2019, the Director has valuable knowledge as she is a parent originally from Hong Kong who sent her own children to boarding school in the UK.

The lead inspector commented, “The Director communicates regularly with students, parents, homestays and schools, and this helps ensure that students’ needs are fully met. It is apparent that their welfare is of the utmost importance.”

Preliminary Accreditation is open to all guardianship organisations or sole guardians of any size. Guardians can even apply before they recruit students. This level ensures that the essential standards are in place in order to provide safe guardianship. The process is rigorous and involves scrutiny of documents, policies and safer recruitment checks.
