Schmart Ltd Passes Preliminary Accreditation

Based in London, Schmart Ltd provides guardianship and school placement services primarily for Turkish families.

The lead inspector reported,

“The Director will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the organisation. She is also an experienced social worker and through this work understands the importance of safeguarding children and the correct procedures to follow should she be faced with a concern. The Director has completed DSL training and understands what this role entails… The Director has a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues and what support is on offer to support individuals who have concerns in this area. The importance of liaising with the school DSL and other relevant staff where there are concerns about students is fully understood.”
