We are pleased to welcome UKEI LTD as a Preliminary accredited member of AEGIS. Based in Leeds, UKEI LTD operates as an agency and guardianship organisation, providing Chinese students with placements and guardianship services whilst studying in the UK.
The lead inspector reported:
“Students needs and wishes are considered when placing them with a homestay, for example preferences for certain cuisine or whether a family has pets. The director understands the importance of safeguarding students and has a suitable procedure in place to follow in the event of any concerns. Safer recruitment procedures are understood and undertaken, including DBS checks on staff and homestays.”
