Working together to safeguard international students
One year ago, the revised National Minimum Standards for Boarding came into force, bringing with it an entirely new standard on educational guardianship – Standard 22. Our member schools have been working incredibly hard to hone their policies and procedures to meet the requirements of this new standard, and the increased responsibility it gives them for the welfare and standard of care of their international students outside of school.
The AEGIS team has been busy advising and guiding school members and accredited guardians alike throughout the summer in preparation for the new academic year. Our member portals have been updated, ensuring that guardians and schools have the very latest advice and guidance at their fingertips.Â
With over 100 AEGIS accredited guardians and more than 165 member schools, we are able to facilitate best practice more widely than ever across the sector.
